I am also selling a Tannoy Mercury mxC-M Centre speaker - Dark Oak
finish (virtually black). This was purchased 2 years ago solely to use
as a centre back surround speaker. It has had very little use as I have
very few DVD's that take advantage of the extra surround speaker.

It is quite compact and very heavy for it's size!The Mercury mXC-M is a
totally shielded centre speaker with two 10 cm paper-coned bass units
and a centre-mounted soft-domed tweeter; delivering an articulate,
tight and punchy image - ideal for the demanding centre channel of any
home cinema system.

using as front speakers. From what I can see your MXC should do the job
